Yes. The room-by-room inventory is useful for local Sydney, regional and interstate move planning. Interstate pricing still requires the route, delivery plan, timing and service inclusions to be reviewed separately.
Is this an interstate moving cost calculator for Australia?
It provides the inventory and moving-space part of an interstate estimate. It does not calculate a final interstate cost because distance, linehaul arrangements, delivery windows, storage, access and handling requirements can materially change the price.
How is a removalist cost per hour calculated?

Should I include moving boxes in the calculation?
Yes. Select the Boxes room and add the expected number of packed moving boxes. If the final number changes later, update the inventory before the truck and crew are confirmed.
How does the calculator handle pianos and items over 200 kg?
Listed specialist items such as an upright piano are flagged for review. You should also select “Heavy item over 200 kg” and describe the item in the notes. JB can then assess the team, lifting equipment, route protection and access required.
Do stairs, lifts and restricted parking change the estimate?
They may not change the displayed cubic metres, but they can change the crew, equipment, timing and final quote. Select every relevant access condition so sales and dispatch can plan the move properly.
How accurate is the recommended moving truck?
It is a planning assessment based on the items and quantities entered, with additional working room for wrapping and safe loading. Accuracy improves when every room, box and unusual item is included. JB confirms the truck after reviewing the complete job.
What happens after I submit the moving calculation?
JB records the inventory with your enquiry, emails the calculation when consent is provided and gives sales and dispatch the same structured move details. The page then reports whether the relevant email and SMS actions were accepted or delivered.
Will my moving inventory stay with my booking?
Yes. The submitted inventory is attached to the same enquiry and can continue through sales and dispatch. Secure client-portal access activates only after a verified deposit is matched to the correct client and job.
